Cracking Christmas for the Kids

MFR’s Cash for Kids received a boost from Morayvia this week with the donation of over £300 worth of toys for their appeal. Morayvia volunteers Diane Mair and Maureen Pountney felt that it was important to make a contribution to this year’s appeal continuing the work that Morayvia does in the community even during the close season and hatched a plan to “do their bit”.

Chairman Mark Mair praised the work of the ladies “this is a very worthy cause to give our backing and support to, as a charitable organisation ourselves, we recognise the community spirit in the area, and were keen to give something back, so when Diane and Maureen put their idea forward to the Board of Directors, we did not hesitate in giving it our full backing”.

Toys for children aged 18months to 10 years old have been collated to donate to MFR’s appeal, and Diane and Maureen are pictured below with their collection of new toys which should help make lots of children happy this Christmas.
