How to find us
Morayvia's Science and Technology Experience Project (STEP) is a project to bring together a number of disciplines from aerospace and astronomy to technology and arts-related activities into a single centre of excellence in Moray, but serving the northeast of Scotland, the Highlands and beyond.
Morayvia (Registered Charity SC042895)
Former 202 Squadron Fl Lt and Morayvia supporter Tony Gear will be with us on Saturday 17th June for a flying visit as he makes his way to John O’Groats as part of his charity cycle ride from the Isle of Wright to John O’Groats to raise money for Funding Neuro.
As part of Tony’s visit, he’ll be signing Sea King prints along with former 202 Sqdn colleagues which will be sold for just £10 each with the proceeds from each print being split between Morayvia and Funding Neuro.
Tony has flown in 1000 Search and Rescue flights over his 35-year career, now retired, the former Sea King pilot has turned his attention to raising money for Funding Neuro a charity he feels strongly about. He is hoping that by raising its profile it will get praise for its revolutionary vision. It has helped a lot of Children already but needs Charity to continue its investigation and hopefully a reduction in DIPG (Diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma) Brain Tumours.
